The rules for using the UBN website and events
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and UBN (United Battle Network). They apply to our website, tournaments and community wherever you are in the world. By signing in, registering for an event or otherwise using UBN, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Using UBN
- You must be old enough to use Discord and to agree to these terms where you live. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian must allow you to use UBN and take part in events.
- UBN is open to players worldwide, but you are responsible for following the laws of your own country, including any rules on online games, prizes, taxes and age limits.
- Some events have extra requirements (region, age, roster size). Event rules override these general terms.
- The service is provided as it is. We may change, pause or stop parts of it, including for maintenance.
2. Your account
- You sign in with Discord. Keep your Discord account secure; you are responsible for what happens through your account.
- Give accurate information (UBN username, in-game names, game IDs, email). One person, one account. Do not share, sell or transfer accounts.
- You can delete your account from your profile settings or through Contact Staff. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept.
3. Conduct
You agree to follow the Rules & Guidelines and not to:
- cheat, use exploits or unfair software, boost accounts, fix matches or take part under a false identity;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse other players or staff, or share hateful, sexual or illegal content;
- attack, scrape, overload or try to break into the website or its API, or look for private data;
- impersonate staff or UBN, or spread false information about results or prizes.
Staff may warn, remove from events, hide from rankings, restrict or ban accounts, and reverse points or results, with or without notice if needed to protect the community. You can appeal through Contact Staff. Staff decisions on rulings are final within UBN.
4. Events, rankings and prizes
- Registration does not guarantee a place. Staff may accept, reject, reschedule, change or cancel events and brackets.
- Rankings and UBN points are for recognition inside UBN. They have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.
- Any prize, its amount and how and when it is paid is set in the event announcement. Winners may need to prove their identity and eligibility, and are responsible for any taxes or fees in their country. Prizes may be withheld or removed if rules were broken or details are false.
- UBN is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the publishers of the games we run events for. Game names and logos belong to their owners.
5. Your content and ours
- You keep ownership of what you submit (names, team details, screenshots, reports). You give UBN permission to store and display it as needed to run the service, for example showing your username, team and results publicly.
- The UBN name, logo, site design and code belong to UBN or its licensors. Do not copy or reuse them without permission.
- You must have the right to share anything you upload.
6. Liability
- We run UBN with a volunteer team and give no promise that it will always be available or free from errors, delays or data loss.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, UBN and its staff are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost prizes, lost data or things caused by game publishers, Discord, internet providers or other third parties.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer or other laws of your country that cannot be limited by agreement.
7. Law, disputes and changes
- Please contact us first through Contact Staff so we can try to fix any problem.
- These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India will decide disputes we cannot settle, except where the law of your own country gives you the right to use your own courts.
- We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version and big changes will be announced on Discord. Using UBN after a change means you accept the new terms.
- If one part of these terms is not enforceable, the rest still applies.
